Mr. Olcie L. Pilgrim, 84, of Stockbridge, GA, died Friday, July 2, 2010. He retired from DeKalb County Roads & Drainage after 34 years of service. Mr. Pilgrim was a member of Honey Creek Baptist Church in Conyers, GA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Samantha Jones Pilgrim, his sons, Jimmy Lavon Pilgrim and Olcie Preston Pilgrim. Mr. Pilgrim is survived by his daughter, Wanda Mae Pilgrim Fidler and her husband Kevin of Loganville; daughters-in-law, Linda Pilgrim of Loganville and Inez Pilgrim Garrett of Ellenwood; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Donald Ray Pilgrim and his wife Connie of Lake Oconee; sister, Christine Pilgrim Marrett and her husband Harry of TX; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Vester Maughon officiating. Interment Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
