Olga Elizabeth Lockaby

Olga Elizabeth Lockaby, 92, died Thursday, June 6, 2019. Mrs. Lockaby was born in Brighton, England. She met her husband, “Slim”, during WWII. She came to the United States as a war bride and became a citizen in 1967. Mrs. Lockaby worked for Sears and Roebuck in their accounting department for 35 years as a statistician. Her family will never forget her incredible work ethic that enabled her to be an outstanding mother, grandmother, artist, knitter, seamstress, gardener, cook and baker.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jesse Neal Lockaby.

She is survived by her son, Harvey Lockaby (Bridget) of Snellville and by her daughter, Sandra Lockaby of Atlanta; 4 grandchildren, Mrs. Jennifer Mabry (John), Mr. James Neal Lockaby (Jennifer), Mrs. Kelly Hernandez (Alberto) and Miss Alexandria Blevins and 5 great-grandchildren.

Memorial Services will take place on Friday, July 12, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Peachtree Presbyterian Church, 3434 Roswell Road NW, Atlanta, GA 30305. Dr. Chuck Roberts will officiate. Immediately following the memorial service a reception will be held to receive friends and family in the Williams Center at the church.
