Mrs. Opal Hall, a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, passed away February 6, 2015. Opal was born in Snellville, GA on September 17, 1926. She enjoyed her friends, her family, cooking, travel and flower arranging. A member of the Antique Car Club, she was also active in Sunday School at Briarlake Baptist Church and loved to read about Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Byron (Billy) Hall. Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, John and Lisa Hall and Mike and Jan Hall; grandchildren, Andrew, Kimberly and Stacey Hall; brother, H. Donald Gresham; sister and brother-in-law, Jeannette and Harold Abernathy. The family will receive friends at A. S. Turner and Sons, Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm. A service to celebrate her life will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, February 9, 2015 at Briarlake Baptist Church in Decatur. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. A. S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
