Pamela Kay (Hupp) Albert, daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, and friend to all, passed away Monday, April 23, 2007 in Atlanta, Georgia at the age of 58. She was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Byon Wayne Hupp and Lois Hupp McIlroy on June 3, 1948. Pamela was a 1966 graduate of Memorial High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She then attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma, where she earned both Bachelor and Masters Degrees in education. Pam was hired by Stillwater Public Schools in 1981 to teach Latin at Stillwater High School where she remained in service for the next twenty two years. Pam and J.L. Albert were married on June 5, 1971 in Tulsa, OK and were married for 35 years at the time of her death. They lived in Stillwater, Oklahoma for thirty two years. They moved to Atlanta, Georgia in March of 2004. Pam was preceded in death by her father, Byon and her sister, Holly Ann Hupp. Pam is survived by her husband J. L., and their two sons, Joshua Karl Albert and Jordan Wayne Albert, both of whom reside in Colorado. She is also survived by her mother, Lois (Hupp) McIlroy, her two sisters, Diana Jane McMahan of Vinita, Oklahoma and Miranda Lynn Hogan and husband, Larry, of Tahlequah, Oklahoma, and nephews Casey Clain, Reade Hogan and niece, Roslyn Hogan. Memorial services will be held in Atlanta, Georgia on Friday, April 27, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. with A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home presiding. Memorial services will also be held at the First Presbyterian Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma on Thursday, May 3, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that a donation be made to Georgia State University Foundation "In Memory of Pamela Albert".
