Pamfila (Pam) Jolley, 78, of Decatur, GA, formerly of La Puente, CA and Cleveland, OH, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2007 at DeKalb Medical Center. Pam was from the Philippine Islands and had resided in Decatur for the past 18 years. Pam and her husband Bill were members of The Tabernacle Church in Decatur. She was a member of the Hosta Association of Georgia. In earlier years, Pam was an avid golfer. For the past 18 years Pam and her husband Bill spent their time creating Pam's tropical paradise at their home in Decatur. The garden was featured on HGTV's A Gardener's Diary in 1998. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Petronila Lee. She is survived by her husband, William S. Jolley; step children, William G. Jolley and Beverly Dyck; sons, Eldridge Elie, Jr., Stovell Elie; daughters, Margarita Elie, Pamfila McClellan; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 24th at The Tabernacle in Decatur with Pastor Sam Mayo officiating. Interment will follow at Bethel Methodist Cemetery, Fairview Rd., Stockbridge, GA. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur, GA 30033.
