Paralee Jones

October 22, 1920 — July 20, 2017

Paralee Blair Jones, age 96, of Tucker, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017. A native of Mt. Airy, GA, after graduating high school, she moved to Atlanta in the 1940's and worked as a supervisor in the bookkeeping department and was later promoted to teller in the First National Bank. She did home childcare in the 1960's and worked for McManaway Realty in the 1970's. She loved to work in her yard. Survivors include her sons; Raymond (Jill) Jones and David Jones, her grandsons; Wesley and Eric Jones, her great-grandsons; Raymes and Mason Jones, her sister-in-law; Jacqueline Tatum, her brother in law; Pete (Virginia) Jones and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband; Reginald R. "Buster" Jones, her brother; Earnie Blair and her sisters; Lois Garner and Doris and Mozelle Blair. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, 4882 Lavista Road, Tucker, GA 30084. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at A. S. Turner & Sons Chapel with Rev. Camille LeBron Powell officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home
