Patricia C. Wingo

Patricia C. Wingo, age 78, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children, at her home in Conyers, on Thursday, March 15, 2018. She was retired from the Kmart Corporation and the DeKalb County School System at Gresham Park Elementary, with 25 years of service to both. She is preceded in death by her loving husband; Billy R. Wingo Sr., her devoted son; Robert M. Wingo, and her cherished granddaughter; Hillary E. Tally.
She is survived by her children; Billy R. Wingo Jr. of Gwinnett (Montrese Wingo), Teresa Tally of Conyers, Sherry Roberts of Covington (Lee Roberts), Patricia (Patty) Burgett of Gainesville (Dean Burgett), Daughter in law Venesa Wingo-Wright of Stone Mountain. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and a cherished grandmother of 10; Billy (B.J.) Wingo III, Melissa Herrera, Amanda Hayman-Tally, Robert (R.J.) Wingo, Keith Tally, Dusty Benton, Jerry Ervin, William R. Aldridge and Mysia Wingo. She was a caring great-grandmother of ten, and beloved cousins to; Riley Milam Jr., Larry Milam and Ricky Milam.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Stan Jordan officiating. She will be laid to rest at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
