Patricia E. Gillentine

Patricia "Tish" Gillentine, age 80, of Decatur, Ga passed away peacefully on June 23, 2013 after a long illness. She was born on September 4, 1932 in Port Arthur, TX to William Corbin Palmer and Margaret (O'Neal) Evans. Tish married Patrick Gillentine on June 20, 1953 in Port Arthur, TX and he survives. She was a homemaker. Also surviving are two daughters, Gayle Meseck (and her former husband, Greg Meseck) Christy (husband, Donnie) Barnes; brother, Neal (wife, Laura) Evans; grandchildren, Aimee Middleton, Taryn Young and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at University Heights Methodist Church, Decatur. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation or the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. A. S.
