Patricia Louise Whitner

Patricia Louise Pearson Whitner was born in Decatur, Georgia 1953. Her heart was in North Carolina where she grew up until she was 13. Growing up she had an intense love for books. She was accepted to Agnes Scott College where she studied English. She was beloved by her family as well as her husband and two daughters. She will be missed by everyone in her community because of her self sacrifice, generosity and kindness toward others. The warmth of her heart was far-reaching and affected many. She enjoyed writing, reading and taking care of her family. She was especially compassionate towards animals and children. Her passing leaves a void and our memories of her are full of love and tenderness. In lieu of flowers, Pat's family welcome donations to Atlanta Humane Society in honor of her love of animals. She is survived by her husband of almost 30 years, Caspar Whitner, her two daughters Mary and Nancy Whitner, her mother and father Lilian and Charles Pearson, and her brother and sister Charles Pearson Jr. and Nancy Yeaman.
