Patrick Anthony Connolly, 92, bid us farewell on Saturday, August 5th in Atlanta, Georgia. He will be remembered for his love of family, his faith, and his sharp wit. Patrick was born on May 13,1931 in Keady, Co. Armagh, N. Ireland, to Mary (Hughes) & Michael Connolly and was the oldest son of their four children (sister Elish, brother Michael and brother Jim). In his youth, Patrick attended St Patrick's school in Armagh and was known for his bright mind, charming personality and his love of Gaelic Football. Patrick decided to pursue his American dream and moved to the States in 1955, he put himself through night school at Iona University in New Rochelle NY, and became a CPA, through hard work and perseverance he ultimately became the Treasurer of the American Stock Exchange. Patrick continued his career in finance until he fulfilled his desire to be his own boss and ventured out on his own. In 1983 he created an insurance restoration firm which he worked tirelessly to build until it was a success.
His quick wit and storytelling prowess brought joy to countless gatherings, making cherished memories that will endure forever.
