Patsy Joan Phillips

“An Angel on Earth” a devoted Mother and Grandmother.

Patsy Joan Etter Phillips was called into heaven in the early morning of July 13, 2022. Her son and daughter were at her side.

Patsy retired from the State of Georgia, where she worked in the Disability Adjudication Section.

She was an expert craftswoman; she loved to travel the country and Europe visiting family and friends, especially her hometown of Tracy City, TN. She opened her arms and heart to almost everyone she met. Her love for friends and especially her family had no boundaries.

From her children: Our Mother was an incredible person. She was our Mom, teacher, disciplinarian, mentor, example and most of all our friend and confidant. She will be thought of and missed every day.

From her grandchildren: Today we lost the most amazing person in our lives, who devoted her life to us four after we were born, and was the best Grandma we could have ever had. We will love you forever.

Patsy was preceded in death by her children Calista and John Phillips; and son-in-law Buzz Eskew.
