COLLY, Pauline W.
Mrs. Pauline W. Colly, 84, of Atlanta died Friday, April 18, 2014. Mrs. Colly was the widow of Wallace H. C. Colly Jr., who died May 31, 2009. Pauline Colly was a graduate of Commercial High School in Atlanta. She resided in recent years in Chamblee, Dunwoody, Tucker, and Decatur. She was a loyal member of Atlanta First United Methodist Church ever since she and Wallace were married there in 1948. She is survived by her sister, Mary Orr of Acworth; sister, Cora Lambert of Athens; son, Wallace Colly III; daughter-in-law, Carol Colly of Norcross; grandson, Steven Colly, also of Norcross; and granddaughter, Pamela Peterson and her husband Aaron Peterson, of Fort Mill, SC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 22nd at 10 AM at the Atlanta First United Methodist Church, Dr. Charles Gardner officiating. Burial will follow in Arlington Memorial Park, Sandy Springs. In lieu of flowers it is requested by the family that donations be given in Pauline Colly's name to the Music Fund at Atlanta First United Methodist Church, 360 Peachtree St. N.E., Atlanta, GA 30308. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8 PM Monday at A. S. Turner and Sons, Decatur.
