Peggy Ross

EUNICE CORNELIA BRADLEY (PEGGY) ROSS 89 of Clearwater, Florida passed away peacefully at Hospice House Woodside on February 2, 2008.  Mrs. Ross was born in Atlanta, Georgia on August 7, 1918, and moved to Clearwater in 1997.  She married her beloved husband, R. W., in 1937.  Peggy and R. W. were married for seventy years and raised four loving daughters, Penny Getti, Kitty Moore, Connie Harmon and Becky Parrish.  Peggy loved to dance with R. W. and was an accomplished bridge player. She played at the Bayou Club and Belleair Town Center. Peggy was very active in her condominium community, The Grande, on Sand Key Beach.  Mrs. Ross was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sisters, two brothers and two grandchildren, Hal Moore and Brittainy Harmon.  She is survived by two sisters, her four daughters and their spouses, seven grandchildren, Ross Brown, Jennifer Durden, Ken Harmon, David Harmon, Elizabeth Reed, Bradley Parrish, Beau Parrish and six great grandchildren.  Visitation for Mrs. Ross will be held at A.S Turner & Sons Funeral Home in Decatur, GA on Friday, February 8th at 11:00 AM followed by a service at 12 noon. She will be buried at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker, Georgia.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd., Clearwater, Florida 33760.
