Penelope Pappas

August 15, 1932 — December 14, 2024

Penelope K.Pappas, 92, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on December 14,2024. She was born on August 15, 1932 in Alagonea, Kalamata Greece to John and Mary Kastanos. She was proceeded in death by her loving husband of 43 years John G Pappas. She is survived by her children, daughter Helen, son George ( John and Manuel) and son Jim (wife MaryAnn - children Johnny and Maria(Francisco).

Her devout faith led her to bake prosforo weekly for the cathedral and chapel for many years. She taught many her gift of cooking and baking. Her strength and love of church was always a motivating factor- not just to her family, but strangers as well . She was a member in several organizations ie Daughters of Penelope and Philiptochos Society.

Penelope's love was unconditional for all of us, including her great grandchildren, Michael, Mimi, Yanni, Jonathan, Jennifer, Alex, and her great great granddaughter Makayla. She was a remarkable woman who inspired us. May her memory be eternal.

In lieu of flowers donations can go to the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation.
