Pete J. Poulos

Pete J. Poulos, age 90 of Atlanta, passed away on December 2, 2018. He was a native Atlantan and a very active member of the Greek Community. Pete served in the Coast Guard during the Second World War and was the Sales Manager of Hennessy Cadillac in Atlanta for many years before retiring. He had many hobbies that he enjoyed throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Christina Long Poulos and their son, Johnny Poulos. Pete is survived by his longtime companion, Marty Woodall; son, Jimmy Poulos and his wife, Joni; daughter, Lisa Williams; 5 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thurdsay, December 6th at 11:00 am at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of the Annunciation in Atlanta. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his honor to the charity of your choice. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 5 to 7 pm, with a prayer service at 6pm, at A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home and Crematory, Decatur.
