Mr. Peter Chris Anason of Atlanta died Monday, March 19, 2007. He graduated from Atlanta Boys High School, Class of '44, attended Georgia Tech and graduated from Georgia State University. He served in the U.S. Army. The family founded the Atlanta Restaurant Supply Company. Mr. Anason served on the Parish Council and was elected treasurer for the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Annunciation. He was a member and a district officer of A.H.E.P.A. He is survived by his wife, Mary Vasilopoulos Anason; son and daughter-in-law, Dean Chris and Andrea P. Anason of Atlanta; granddaughter, Nora Anason; sister and brother-in-law, Atalante and Jimmie Petkas of Atlanta; sisters-in-law, Bessie Nikas and Barbara Makris; and nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at the Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Annunciation at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, March 21st, Father George Alexson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or The Greek Orthodox Cathedral Endowment Fund. Interment Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 4 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at A. S. Turner & Sons
