Phillip G. Holcomb

Phillip G. Holcomb, 75, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2010 surrounded by friends. Born in New Orleans, he moved to Atlanta when he was six months old. He was a graduate of Grady High School and the University of Georgia. He is survived by his life partner of 17 years, Dennis Peters; a cousin, Carolyn Weiss and her husband Melvin, a cousin, Dr. William Garvin and his wife Sarah, and 2^nd cousins, Gary Weiss, Darrell Weiss, Brenda Weaver, David Garvin and Bill Garvin. A memorial service will be held in the chapel of  A. S. Turner & Sons, 2773 North Decatur Rd, Decatur, GA 30033 with visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and the service at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 30, 2010.
