Phyllis L. Millican, 87, of Atlanta, GA, passed away on Monday February 13, 2017. Born April 2, 1929, she was the daughter of Arthur William and Ruth Peterson Lent. Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Basil, daughter, Lynda and is survived by her daughter, Patricia Millican; son, Tom Millican (Beth); brothers, Bill(Nell)Lent, Don(Mary)Lent and Bob(Bonnie)Lent; grandsons, Greg Strayhorn (Shelley), Darryl (Stacey), Billy (Megan) and Storm; granddaughter, Michelle (Billie Mac); great granddaughter, Madison, Autumn, Brittany, Elyssa and Katelyn; great grandson, Michael, Logan, Jordan and William; a host of nieces, nephews, friends and her loving canine companions, Katie, Sara and Emma. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home on Friday, February 17th at 11:00 am with Rev. Stephen Weisz officiating. Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons.
