Polly Ellen Turco

Mrs. Polly Ellen Turco of Decatur died Friday, March 2, 2007. She was a gifted porcelain artist and active within the china painting community. She dedicated herself to this rare art form and its traditions by teaching others. She is survived by three daughters, Marie Turko Garcia, Atlanta, Kelly Turco, Los Angeles, CA., and Jennifer T. Woloschinow, Marietta; sons, Jamie Turko, Tequesta, FL., Peter Turko, Lawrenceville; brother, Hugh Dowell, White Lake, MI; and three grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 11 A. M., Tuesday, March 6, 2007, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Father Neil Herlihy will officiate. Interment Decatur Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at A. S. Turner & Sons.
