Qimin Dong

Qimin (Jimmy) Dong, 69, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a rich legacy of knowledge and love. He held a PhD in Engineering and dedicated 32 years of his career to Dodge Industrial in Greenville, South Carolina.

An avid Tai Chi practitioner, Qimin found joy in sharing this ancient art with others and inspired countless students with his passion and patience. His most cherished moments were spent with his wife of 42 years, Haiping Dong, his daughter Zuning Lisa, and his beloved grandchildren, Hazel and Hudson, with whom he enjoyed countless playful adventures.

Qimin will be remembered for his warmth, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to his family and community. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A family only memorial service will be held at Turner and Sons Funeral Home in Atlanta on Thursday, October 3.
