R. Dale Weisenecker

Dale Weizenecker passed away Sunday, August 05, 2007. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elsie Weizenecker; children, Lynda & Bob Wilson, Dale & Jackie Weizenecker, Tim Weizenecker, and Mark & Cindy Weizenecker; one brother and ten beloved grandchildren. He was a lifelong professional educator, retired from the Athens, AL City Schools as superintendent, who saw himself as a "good school man". A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 9th at Columbia Presbyterian Church in Decatur, GA where he served as an elder. Rev. Thomas R. Hagood will officiate.
