Ramona Irene Rubeo

Ramona Irene Rubeo, Born April 27, 1948, passed into heaven on July 2nd, 2018. Ramona had three children who were her pride and joy, David, Scott and Brianna. Ramona worked multiple jobs when her boys were young and then found a career in healthcare working as a Claims Director for Pacificare Healthcare. In 1992, Ramona and her life partner Barbara adopted a beautiful baby girl. At that time, Ramona quit her job to be a stay at home mom. In 1997, Ramona, Barbara and Brianna relocated to Atlanta, GA. There they raised their baby and lived a beautiful life. Ramona loved being near her family and enjoyed annual visits from her sons and grandchildren.
Ramona is survived by her sons, David (Lisa), Scott, daughter Brianna, grandsons, Ben, Evan, Will and granddaughter Bronte, her life partner Barbara Murrin and many beloved friends in both California and Atlanta.
There will be a celebration of life for Ramona at Briarcliff Oaks on July 9th, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Fellowship Hall. Additionally, there will be another service in California at a date and time to be determined.
In lieu of flowers, Ramona was about making a positive impact on society. So, in memory we ask that you take time to give back. Whether, you want to donate time to the homeless or help a neighbor it’s what Ramona would have wanted.
