Raymond King, Sr., passed away December 26, 2008. A 1942 graduate of Marist High School, he immediately entered the United States Navy and fought in World War II. After leaving the Navy, he graduated from the University of Miami, where he played football and majored in business. During the last 51 years, Raymond and his wife, Virginia, have resided in Atlanta. Ray was a successful businessman primarily working in the business forms area. In addition, he was an active member at Clairmont Presbyterian Church, and a member of the Progressive Sunday School class. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family. He is survived by his wife Virginia; his son, Raymond King, Jr.; and his three children; daughter, Judy Elder and her two children, as well as his twin sister Carolyn Lynch and her two children. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 am Monday, December 29, 2008 at the Arlington Memorial Park with Rev. Ron Hieber officiating.
