Rebecca Ann Yancey Williams, 76, of Franklin, GA, died unexpectedly on Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Piedmont Hospital Newnan. She was born to Randolph Ogden and Vivian Summers Yancey on November 19, 1945.
Becky graduated from Avondale High School, Class of 1963. After high school she married and had three daughters. She worked with her parents at Yancey’s of Atlanta following shared family passion for wedding photography. She attended Mount Paran Church in Atlanta where she was involved with Airborne Concerts. She also became involved with Safehouse of Atlanta Ministries, which is where she met her second husband, Gregory E. Williams. They were married on May 5, 1996 and shared a wonderful life together for over 25 years. She gave so much love to their family. She was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ. She loved for her grandchildren to come and visit her. She loved ALL of God’s creatures and she loved her home.
She was preceded in death by her father. She is survived by her husband, Greg; Mary Hart, daughter; Yvette Sammons, daughter; Jenny O’Connor, daughter; Sean Bisset, stepson; Vivian Yancey, mother; Douglas Yancey, brother; Patricia Jenkins, sister; Claire Collom, sister; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
On Saturday, December 11, 2021 there will be a viewing held at A. S. Turners Funeral Home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. and a service of remembrance will be held at A. S. Turners on Sunday, December 12,2021 at 2:30 p.m.
