GORE, Elsie ?
Rev. Elsie Gore of Peachtree City died Sunday, October 30, 2005. Rev. Gore was ordained in 1944 as an Episcopal Deaconess. She served as the Bishop?s Messenger in Pelle, Canada. She was one of the first women in Canada to receive a L.T.H. degree. She was married to the Rev. Norman Gore, former rector of the Episcopal Church of The Epiphany, and served on the staff of The Epiphany Church. She is survived by sons, John C. Gore of Houston, TX, Tim Gore of Peachtree City; daughter, Monique Gore of Green Bay, WI; grandchildren, Nahum Burt, Paul Burt, Jim Gore, Windi Gore, Catherine Gore; and one great grandson. A memorial service will be held Friday, November 4th, 11 A.M. at the Episcopal church of The Epiphany, Bishop J. Neil Alexander officiating. A reception will be held after the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Episcopal Relief Fund. A. S. Turner & Sons
