Rev. Ford Baker 69, of Decatur, passed away on Sunday November 13, 2011. Rev. Ford was born in Detroit, MI and went on to serve as a medic in the U.S. Air Force. He was a missionary in England for 12 years. He is predeceased by a daughter Patricia Marie, and survived by his loving wife of 50 years Margaret, two daughters; Cathi and Laura and his faithful dog Freddy. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons 11:00 AM , Tuesday November 15 with Rev. Nesbitt Odom officiating. Interment will follow with military honors at Georgia National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 11454 Alexandria, VA 22312 or to Baptist International Missions Inc. P.O. Box 9215, Chattanooga, TN 37412. The family will receive friends Monday November 14 from 6:00 PM to 8:00PM at A.S. Turner and Sons.
