A passion for life, his friends and his work-Richard C. Parker, 58, of Atlanta died Wednesday, April 30, 2008 in Atlanta after a battle with cancer. Mr. Parker was born in Baltimore, Maryland, the second of two children of the late John and Margaret Parker of Huntsville. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, John and Linda Parker, and their two children Daly and John. Mr. Parker was a notable colorist of national stature and was the owner of Colorbay, a post production facility located in Atlanta. He graduated from Huntsville High School and attended Snead College. He held many television production related positions in Huntsville, Chattanooga, Charlotte and Atlanta ranging from cameraman, news director, editor and film transfer colorist.
