Robbie Jean Fleming

Robbie J. Fleming, age 86, of Decatur passed away peacefully on August 26, 2015. She was born on July 21, 1929 in Carthage, TN to Charles Herlin and Maude Lee Gregory. She attended college and taught school where her father was a principal in a one room school house. Robbie married Jack Quentin Fleming and he preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and had worked as a cashier for 18 years at Colonial and Kroger grocery stores. Surviving is a daughter, Kathy McKnight; son, Daryl Q. Fleming; sister, Almarine (James) Rolader; brother, D.L. (Helen) Gregory; grandchildren, Chris H. McKnight, Carrie L. Merriam, Quentin Charles Fleming; great grandchildren, Atticus H. and Amelia Mae Merriam; sister in law, Martha Banard; brother in law, Glen Fleming; and numerous nieces and nephews . Funeral services will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at A.S. Turner and Sons. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 29 from 4-6 p.m. Burial will be at Floral Hills Memory Gardens.
