Robbie Rene Re

Robbie Rene Re (86) of Decatur/Hampton, Ga. passed away on July 7th after a valiant battle with COPD. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to many, she was born on April 10th, 1925 in Atlanta, Ga. She was a member of First Christian Church of Decatur for over 50 years, and a founding member of the Beacon Sunday School class. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Andrew Re. They enjoyed many travel adventures with their church, family, and friends throughout the U.S. and Europe. She is survived by her 3 daughters and son-in-laws Andrea Re and Robert Osgood of Savannah, Ga. , Domini Re-Darling and Konrad Darling of Hampton, Ga., and Gina Re Simonton and Ward Simonton of Gainesville, Fl. Four grandchildren; Blair Osgood, Konrad Darling, Jesse Simonton, and Carson Simonton, Brother-in-law Nicholas Rey and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
R. O. and Eula Mae Carson and her sisters; Norma Morris and Marguerite S. McLaughlin.
Family will receive friends at A. S. Turner Funeral Home 2773 N. Decatur Rd. in Decatur at 2pm Sunday, July 10th followed by funeral services at 3pm. Graveside service at Floral Hills Memory Garden, 3000 Lawrenceville Hwy in Tucker. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your favorite charity. A. S. Turner & Sons
