Robert "Bob" Howard Finn

April 10, 1927 — March 19, 2016

Robert "Bob" Howard Finn, retired UGA professor in the Terry College of Business (Management), passed away recently following an extended illness. Bob was born in 1927 in Jonesboro, Arkansas to Romer Carl and Kate Holt Finn; he spent most of his youth living in Memphis, TN. He attended and graduated from Purdue
University with a PhD in Industrial Psychology, served in the Army Air Corp during WWII and ultimately ended up in Athens as a management professor at the University of Georgia Terry College of Business for over 20 years. Until recently, Bob and his wife, Lola, lived in Watkinsville. Bob is preceded in death by his parents and his brother David. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Lola (Atlanta, formerly of Athens); daughters Janice Finn Culp (David)
of Gainesville, MO, and Sharon Finn of Seward, AK; stepsons Byron Wells and Glenn Wells (Sheryl) of Winston‐Salem, NC, and Larry Donroe-Wells (Vincent) of
Atlanta; grandchildren Peter Finn (Brittney) of Anchorage, AK, Reese Wells and Noelle Wells of Winston-Salem, NC and Connor Donroe-Wells of Atlanta, GA. For those wishing to honor Bob's life and his memory, the family requests that donations be made on his behalf to the Alzheimer's Association at
