Mr. Robert (Bob) Haller, age 87, of Atlanta died Tuesday, September 27, 2005. He grew up in Chattanooga, TN, but lived in the Atlanta area since World War II. The last 50 years he made his home in Avondale Estates. He attended Baylar Prep School in Chattanooga, and graduated in Mechanical Engineering from Cornell University. Mr. Haller served in World War II for four years as captain in the 20th Armored Division. He was wounded in the capture of Munich, Germany at the end of the war and received a Purple Heart and Silver Star for Bravery. He was a member of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, past president of Georgia Engineering Society, and a 50 year member of A. S. M. E. Mr. Haller worked for 25 years at Babcock and Wilcox Company and Warren Engineering Company before retirement. He was a long-time member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Decatur, GA, where he served on the Vestry, taught Sunday school, was a lay reader, an usher and active in the Brotherhood of St. Andrews. He is survived by his wife, Harriette; two sons Forrest F. and Robert L; a sister Marjory Cregler of Shelbyville, TN. His service will be Friday, September 30th at 2:00 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church in Decatur, GA. He will be cremated and the ashes will
