Robert Hall

Mr. Robert Hall passed away peacefully on Friday October 5, 2012. He was born in Dooly County, GA June 24, 1924 to Henry Osbourne and Pauline Powell Hall. He retired from Fulton County Government in 1986, also having worked for Prudential Insurance and C & S Bank. Robert lived a full and eventful life, enjoying his family and friends, his love of books and music and in his later years, ballroom dancing. He is now dancing with the love of his life, his wife of almost 53 years, Audrey Tripp Hall. Robert was a veteran of the U S Navy, serving on the USS William R. Rush during World War II. He was also a Master Mason with the Masons of Georgia for over 50 years. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, his son, Robert Lee Hall and his siblings, H. O. Hall, Nell Tarleton and Anthony Pate Hall. He is survived by his daughter and son in law, Lynn Hall Martin and Wayne Martin of VA; granddaughter, Lindsey Michelle Hall of Jacksonville, FL, his brother in law and his wife, Gilbert and Angelyn Tripp of Americus, GA; sister in law, Mirla Hall of Watkins Glen, NY as well as numerous nieces & nephews. A special thank you goes to Thomas G. Corrigan for his care of Robert in the last year. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the charity of your choice. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Monday October 8th at Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will visit with friends Monday from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm at A. S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home and Crematory.
