Robert grew up in Grafton, Wisconsin where his parents still live today. After college Robert moved to New York living in Jamaica, Queens New York for several years. He worked at the Whitney Museum during his time in there. Robert moved to Atlanta, GA in 1996. He met Caroline Hull in 1997 and they were married in 1999 at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. They welcomed daughters Ava Bonner and Ella in 2003 and 2005. The family lived in East Atlanta for over 20 years before relocating to Stone Mountain in 2018.

Robert was an electrician by trade. He was a graduate of the Electrician Journeyman program through the Atlanta IBEW and he had a roster of loyal clients over the past 17 years that counted on him time after time to help them with their residential and commercial projects.

Robert was so well liked by all who met him. He was truly a good person and he always treated everyone with respect and kindness. He loved his family and he worked very hard to help take care of them. He loved his parents very much as well as his siblings and he always looked forward to their weekly zoom calls each Sunday evening

Robert’s greatest loves were his daughters, his dogs, landscaping his yard, making art, collecting Mid Century Modern treasures and listening to Surf music. He was a big lover of Film Noir and B movies too. A voracious reader he was incredibly knowledgeable about Art History, WWII history and Pop Culture. Robert had an incredible sense of humor and a day didn’t go by that he wasn’t quoting movie lines, making up silly names for the family dogs or telling some funny story. His family and friends will continue to treasure those wonderful stories and all the inside jokes he shared. He is greatly missed by all who were lucky enough to know him. Heaven has gained a truly special man.
