Robert Lee Dean

Robert Dean, loving husband and father, of Decatur, GA passed into the presence of his Heavenly Father and Lord Jesus Christ Sunday of complications from pneumonia on Sunday, September 27, 2009. He was 64. The family rejoices that he is at long last free from his infirmities and perfectly well. He is survived by his faithful wife of 38 years, Gail Dean; their six children/children-in-law, Holly and David Lord of Commerce, Chad and Jennifer Dean of Piedmont, SC, Ryan and Leslie Dean of Lilburn; and two grandchildren, Kyle Lord and Evan Dean. Also surviving are two brothers, William Dean of Augusta and Chris Dean of Greensboro, NC; and a sister, Gloria Shivers of Vidette, GA. A service celebrating his life and the Gospel will be held in the chapel at A. S. Turner & Sons funeral home in Decatur, GA on Thursday, October 1 at 11AM. Burial will follow the service at Floral Hills Memory Gardens in Tucker. The family also will receive friends from 6-8PM on Wednesday evening, September 30 at A. S. Turner & Sons
