Robert Lee Jackson, Jr. passed away peacefully at Emeritus in Decatur, Georgia after living with Alzheimer's for over a decade. Jesus finally called him home. Robert was born in Blairsville, Georgia to the late Robert and Martha Jackson. He loved growing up in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains but eventually moved to Atlanta where he would remain the rest of his life. Price, the love of his life for almost 63 years. Together they began their legacy in Decatur, Georgia raising five children: Marti Stanelle, Toni Anderson, Kay Burdeshaw, Scott Jackson and Cheryl Jackson in addition to 13 grandkids and 15 great grandkids. As a salesman for Colonial Bakery for over 40 years, he won many awards for his dedicated service and happy-go-lucky attitude. Robert always had a whistle on his lips and a bounce in his step.
