Robert Leslie Snee

Robert Leslie Snee age 77 of Chamblee passed away Thursday, July 29, 2021 after a short illness. He was born January 16, 1944 in Atlanta, Georgia and was the son of the late Edna Flowers Snee and Emmett Snee.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Atlanta. He attended Grady High School and received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Human Resources from Georgia State University. He worked at WSB Channel 2, Public Media Inc. and various other Atlanta television and radio stations. During retirement, he enjoyed working on a lathe, hand crafting quality writing pens.

Bob was an active member of the Northlake Elks Lodge and Shallowford Presbyterian Church. He was an avid Atlanta history buff and animal lover.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Betty. He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Dana Smith Snee, their daughters Viktoria and Oksana, one grandson, five nieces, one nephew and several great-nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, August 13, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Shallowford Presbyterian Church.
