Robert Maclean Holden

Mr. Bob MacLean Holden, born Robert MacLean Holden, age 58, of Plainville, Georgia, departed this life Sunday evening, August 7, 2011 at Gordon Hospital. Robert was born September 1, 1952 in Plainville. He was a son of the late Richard and Eleanor Holden. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Colette M. Holden; daughter Kelly D. Holden; son Richard R. "Chris" Holden; daughter AmyLea M. Holden; son Dustin G. Holden; son Taylor G. Holden, all of Plainville, Georgia; brother and sister-in-law Charles L. Holden and Carol Holden of Ocoee, Florida; nieces, Amanda and Emily Holden; sister and brother-in-law Margaret "Peggy" S. Tischer and Burton "Burt" Tischer of New Port Richie, Florida; nephews, Matthew, Mikey, and Jeremy Tischer; and grandson Christian John "CJ" MacLean Holden.

Bob was an ordained minister of the Anglican Church and was employed at The Kroger Co., in Calhoun, GA. Bob was a loving husband and father. Services will be held at the Plainville Independent Methodist Church, 646 Plainville Rd., Plainville, Georgia on Saturday August: 13, 2011 at 11:00 A.M., with Bishop Paul G. Stanley and Deaconess Susan Stanley officiating. As Bob was an avid, life-long fan of the Atlanta Braves, in lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
