Robert Marks Carter was born October 11, 1955 in Decatur, Georgia to Robert and Frances . Bob went on to attend elementary school in Decatur and continued on to Briarcliff High School where he graduated in 1973. Along the way he participated in the Briarcliff marching band, played on the soccer team, and also played on the golf team. He went on to Berry College in Rome, GA where he graduated with a bachelors degree in 1977. He went on to serve in the sales and marketing field until recently retiring. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Berry College Alumni Fund referencing Bob Carter.
