Robert Ray Harroff

Bob, age 86, of Atlanta, GA, and Fort Mill, SC, passed away Tuesday, July, 29, 2008. He was born in South Bend, IN, July 29, 1922, to the late Roy and Dolly May Harroff. Bob was a member of St. John’sUnitedMethodistChurch in Fort Mill, SC. Bob enjoyed fishing in the north Georgia mountains and gardening at his daughter’s home in Decatur, GA. He served in the United States Marine Corp and the Naval Reserves during World War II.

Bob is survived by his daughter, Dr. Pamela Harroff of Decatur, GA, and sons Patrick Harroff of Saturna Island, British Columbia, and David Harroff of Fort Mill, SC, and their spouses. In addition he is survived by ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 2, 2008, at 11:00am in the MemorialGarden at NorthsideUnitedMethodistChurch in Atlanta, GA. The church is located at

2799 Northside Drive NW.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the Volunteer Service Department of the Decatur, GA Veterans Administration Hospital at 1670 Clairmont Road, Decatur, GA, 30033.
