Robert Stansell, Sr

Robert Warner Stansell, Sr., age 84, of Decatur, Georgia died Monday, August 16, 2004. He was born in Hiram, GA and was a son of the late Robert Owen and Leila Ragsdale Stansell. Mr. Stansell was the president of Bob Stansell?s Inc. and of Respiration Products, Inc. Before becoming a business owner, he was employed with Pet Milk for 12 years. He was a member of the Shallowford Presbyterian Church in Atlanta and served in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Quartermasters Corps as a 1st Lieutenant. He is survived by his wife, Frances Barton Stansell; a son, Robert (Skip) W. Stansell, Jr. and his wife Peggy of Clinton, SC; a daughter, Sharman Stansell Egan and her husband Kevin of Atlanta; and granddaughter, Neely Stansell Simpson and her husband David of Lexington, VA. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, 2 p.m. at Shallowford Presbyterian Church, Rev. Robbie Carroll and Rev. Gray Norsworthy officiating.
