Rock Alan Rega, Sr.

Mr. Rock Alan Rega, Sr., 54, of Decatur, GA went home to Glory Wednesday, July 13, 2011. He was born, May 29, 1957 to Janet and Ray Rega in Connellsville, PA. He graduated from Kittredge Adult School and lived most of his life in Decatur. He served in the U. S. Navy, and was an expert climber and tree surgeon. Rock was a member of Scott Boulevard Baptist Church and Recovery Celebration with the Salvation Army Temple Corps on North Druid Hills Rd. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Strawn Hall. Rock is survived by his parents, Janet and Ray Rega; his brother, Raymond C. Rega and his wife Rebecca; his loving children, Roxanne Louise Rega Arriaga and her husband Luis, Rock Alan Rega, Jr., Douglas Foster Rega; grandchildren, Anthony and Autumn Laurenzo and Spencer Rega; and two nephews. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 17th at 3:00 PM in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 6:00 to 9:00 PM at A. S. Turner & Sons.
