WATKINS, Ronny
Ronny Watkins, age 67, of Snellville died Thursday, September 9, 2010. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends. Ronny graduated from Avondale High School and worked for the US Postal Service for 30 years. After retirement from the post office, he was a train engineer at Stone Mountain Park. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Rowland Watkins, daughter, Amy Watkins Cyphers (Mark) of Covington; son, Clint Watkins of Snellville; brother, Kenneth Watkins (Valerie) of Snellville; grandchildren, Alisha Stephens and Teresa Dean; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Monday, September 13, 2010 at the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Kenneth Sweat officiating. Interment will be in Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Saturday and Sunday at A. S. Turner & Sons.
