Rosa Pearl Landers

Rosa M. Landers passed peacefully on Friday March 30, 2018, at home in Decatur, Ga. Rosa was born in Dudley, GA on June 2, 1929, to Joseph and Cora Manning. After moving to Atlanta to attend business college, Rosa fell in love and married Charles N. Landers, her beloved husband of 65 years. Rosa was a full-time homemaker and volunteered at DeKalb Hospital for 30 years. Anyone who knew Rosa will forever remember her grace, humble spirit and genuine love of God and family. Rosa is survived by son, Charles (Jo Ann) N. Landers; daughter, Marilyn Landers (Jim Firth); daughter, Vivian (David) Crenshaw; 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. A celebration of Rosa’s life will be held at Briarlake Baptist Church Chapel on Lavista Road on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 prior to service. Burial will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Garden. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Briarlake Baptist “New Horizon’s Bible Class”. A. S. Turner & Sons, Decatur, GA.
