Rosalind Savage Armistead, 73, of Atlanta, GA, died on January 26, 2014, following complications from Alzheimer's disease. She was born on December 30, 1940, in Atlanta, grew up in Statham, GA, and lived most of her adult life in Atlanta. She graduated from Winder-Barrow High School, attended the University of Georgia, married Ralph Armistead, and raised two daughters. Rosalind was quick with a smile and laugh. She enjoyed her family, Lake Rabun, and Bulldog football. Rosalind is survived by her brothers and their wives, Phil and Judy Savage, David and Evelyn Savage, brother-in-law John Armistead and his wife Dianne; daughter, Lisa Armistead and her husband Daniel Kidder; daughter, Jennifer Armistead; and three grandchildren, Quintin Kidder, Lucas Kidder, and Savannah Williamson. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org ).
