Rose Mary Kirby

Rose Mary O’Toole Kirby, age 93, died on July 6, 2018 in Decatur, Georgia. Rose Mary was born in Holden, Missouri on December 24, 1924. She was preceded in death by her husband, James LeRoy Kirby.
Rose Mary is survived by her two children, Donna Kirby McGauley (Patrick) of Decatur, Georgia and Patrick James Kirby of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren, Devin James McGauley, Maya McGauley, and Justin James Kirby; one great granddaughter, Jessica Lynn Kirby; a sister, Mildred Brewer and many loved in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Rose Mary lived most of her adult life in Kansas City, Kansas. She worked for AT&T, Koch Industries and Camp Fire Girls. After retirement she moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she worked for Handy Hardware. She then moved to Salt Lake City, Utah to be closer to her son.
Rose Mary loved her daily walks around the neighborhood with her dogs and she enjoyed working in her garden. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to your favorite charity. A graveside service will be held at Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas at a later time.
