Roxana Stokely Porter

Roxana "Roxy" Porter passed away peacefully at home on October 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Larry. Roxy loved and was loved by many. She offered encouragement and compassion to all she touched. Her hours dedicated to helping at Wesley Haven and Plymouth Harbor brought her much joy. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in law, Elane "Lane" and Jim Dynneson, Lisa and John Schellack, Lori and Alan Hudson; four grandchildren, Kenneth, Dana, Oliver and Mackenzie; two brothers, Theodore Stokely and Jesse Stokely; nieces and nephews; and her #1 friend, Kathryn Hall. Funeral services will be held in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons at 1 P.M. Wednesday, October 13th. Interment Forest Hills Memorial Gardens. Those desiring may make contributions to Plymouth Harbor Adult Day Program, 2676 Clairmont Rd., NE, Atlanta, GA 30329. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday and 1 hour prior to the service at A. S. Turner & Sons.
