Mr. Roy Myers, 78, of Atlanta died Monday, August 18, 2008. A native of Carbondale, IL, Mr. Myers served his country as a Sergeant in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. He was a retired coffee salesman. Mr. Myers was a member of the First Church of The Nazarene. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Nash Myers. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Donna and Tim Williams of Cumming; granddaughter, Whitney Meadows and her husband, Duncan of Decatur; sisters and brother-in-law, Georgia and Daniel Busch of Lake Leelanau, MI, Lillie Ward of Bourbonnais, IL; and brother, David E. Myers of Carbondale, IL. Graveside services will be held Wednesday, August 20th at 12:30 pm in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 19th at A. S. Turner & Sons.
