Ruby Brown Monsour, 85, recently of Covington, Georgia died Saturday, August 29, 2009 at 3:00 PM at Riverside Nursing Home in Newton County, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Charles Monsour. She was born Ruby Mae Brown on January 2, 1924 in Lithonia, Georgia to the late Henry Pierce Brown and the late Annie Maude Brown. She worked for 25 years at the Wachovia Bank in Atlanta until she retired. Survivors include her brothers and sisters-in-law, The Rev. J. S. and Lorraine Brown of Porterdale, Georgia, Marvin and Nancy Brown of Decatur, Georgia and Louis and Beth Brown of Bremen, Georgia; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, September 1, 2009 in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. Dickie Johnson officiating. Interment will be in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Monday, August 31, 2009, at A. S. Turner & Sons.
