Ruby Chapman Cheatham, age 100, of Clarkston, GA passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at Southern Angels Personal Care Home. She was born November 4, 1908 in Franklin County, GA, the fifth child of James and Lula Chapman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie I. Cheatham; son, James R. Cheatham; grandson, Steven Hensler; and great granddaughter, Tanya Hensler. She is survived by daughter, Edna Hensler and husband Billy; son, Lawrence Cheatham and wife Sharon; 8 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Fred Grady Chapman; sister, Hazel Baker and husband Bob; sister-in-law, Ann Chapman; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of A. S. Turner & Sons with Rev. James Chapman officiating. Interment Melwood Cemetery.
