Ruby Lee Frazier Burbank of Stone Mountain passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. She was born at home on Frazier Road in Decatur on March 28, 1938. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, William Lloyd Burbank, Jr. and is survived by her daughters, Tracey Burbank and Susan Salter; son-in-law, Greg Salter and brothers, Curtis Frazier and Herschel Frazier. Ruby devoted her life to raising her two girls and caring for her husband. She also worked as a secretary at the First Moravian Church for many years. She loved to sing and was a member of the Decatur Civic Chorus when it performed at Llangollen, Wales and at the 1958 World's Fair in Brussels. She was also a choir member at Rehoboth Presbyterian Church where she was a life-long member. Her funeral service will be on Thursday July 14, 2016 at 1:30 pm in the Chapel of A.S. Turner and Sons Funeral Home located in Decatur GA with Rachel Whatley-Pate officiating. Interment will follow at Melwood Cemetery. There will be a reception following the service at A.S Turner and Sons. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-5 pm and 7-9 pm at Turner and Sons.
